AntOS Library — wiki (reference)

The wiki library's design and native core — the on-device documentation system. The script-facing API is luau_wiki; the page model, front-matter, {{provider}} grammar, and reader are in the wiki subsystem doc.

What it is

Access to the on-device wiki: fetch a page (with live value expansion), search, list topics, open the reader, and resolve bundle-update URLs. Pages are markdown-lite files under D:/wiki/ in DBFS.

Design notes

  • Pages are just DBFS files — so they version, shadow-back, and search like any other data, and a script can edit them with io/fs. The library adds the wiki-specific layer on top: front-matter parsing, {{provider}} expansion to live system values, and search.
  • Expansion happens on get — {{provider}} tokens resolve at read time to current system values, so a wiki page can show live state rather than a stale snapshot (the mechanism is detailed in the wiki subsystem doc).
  • resolve ties into the bundle/update path — a wiki can declare a bundle: source in its index.md for fetching updated docs.

Native core — libantos_wiki

sys_wiki holds the page store access, front-matter/{{provider}} processing, search index, and the reader hooks; the binding marshals topics and results. No Luau dependency.
